Transform your bathroom on a budget …… It can be very effective to take an inexpensive white tile, use it as the main wall tile and create an individual look for your bathroom by adding tiles in a colour that you love for the design. This design can be in the form of a stripe of colour around the bathroom, a panel of colour behind the wash basin, a border between the floor and the wall – the possibilities are endless. compliment this with towels in this colour or contrasting with this colour. This Design and Art Fair is on May 14th, 15th & 16th in Dublin. Worth a visit if you want to get ideas for bespoke pieces of furniture - contemporary, art deco and antique, glass, art, floor rugs, textiles & lighting. Great to get the creative mind thinking of what could be ! Lots of interesting companies with great products. Enjoy !

There’s great excitement here at Vision Interiors this week because the transmission date for the RTE 1 ‘My Showhouse’ programme which features myself, Linda Moffitt, has been confirmed. The programme will air on RTE 1 on Tuesday May 18th at 8.30pm…

Bedrooms

A bedroom benefits from the addition of a low chair and a cushion displayed on it, it adds colour, links in with the scheme and serves a useful purpose.

Prints

Large prints or paintings positioned close together can add interest, give a finish to a blank wall and give impact to the space.

Mirrors

Mirrors add depth and reflect light, help enlarge and brighten a small space.
